Manager - Sales - Store/Retail (4-8 yrs)
Function: Sales Location: Hyderabad/ Gachibowli
Sales Manager (1 No.) Designation:
Accountability :
Manage functioning of the store to ensure daily sales targets are met, maintain inventory levels, customer service standards are met and store staff is motivated
Major Deliverables :
SALES & CUSTOMER SERVICE :
- Schedule and assign duties/tasks to sales associates, follow up on work results
- Support Sales associates with sales during peak hours/ whenever needed
- Capture customer preferences including satisfiers and dissatisfiers. Periodically collate and report to Head office
- Understand forthcoming initiatives of company and monitor what local competitors are doing
- Respond to customer complaints and comments
ADMINISTRATION :
- Ensure maintenance of store ambience (product display, lighting etc.), upkeep of store infrastructure (furniture, computer,lighting etc.), overall safety, cleanliness and discipline (Open & Close store as scheduled)
- Record staff attendance and encourage punctuality and discipline. In case of short staffed, contact Head Office and makenecessary alternative arrangements
- Manage, motivate sales associate and address staff grievances
- Participate in monthly meetings with the Management
- Conduct meetings with store team periodically (as necessary)
Supervises: Sales Executives, Installation Executives and support staff
Reports to: Head -Operations
PERSON OVERVIEW :
Qualification : Graduate in any discipline
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in supervisory position in retail field
Age : 30+ yrs
Essential Attributes (Experience / Exposure characteristics) :
Social etiquette, ability to manage teams, high degree of integrity, communication
Functional Competencie s: Market knowledge, ability to handle difficult customers, selling skills, basic computer knowledge,customer focus
Behavioral Competencies : Interpersonal effectiveness, takes ownership, relationship skills, team management
