Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in startups and SaaS businesses to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of Closers and Account Managers, lead sales operations, and spearhead the development of our Sales Agent AI for inbound and outbound processes. Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team, including Closers and Account Managers.
- Set clear performance metrics and KPIs, monitor progress, and provide continuous coaching to improve team performance.
- Foster a collaborative, goal-oriented culture to drive results and align with the company's vision.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for SaaS products, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, strategic partnerships, and markets for growth.
- Drive sales operations with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and data-driven decision-making.
3. AI Sales Agent Development
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and data scientists to design and implement AI-powered Sales Agents for inbound and outbound sales workflows.
- Provide strategic insights and customer journey mapping to enhance the AI's functionality and effectiveness.
- Test and refine AI processes to ensure seamless integration into sales operations.
4. Client Relationship Management
- Ensure exceptional client experiences by working closely with Account Managers to maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Develop retention strategies to minimize churn and maximize customer lifetime value.
- Address escalations and oversee resolution of complex client concerns.
5. Performance Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.
- Utilize tools like CRMs and analytics platforms to optimize sales processes.
6. Startup & SaaS Expertise
- Leverage experience in startup environments to build scalable sales processes and frameworks.
- Utilize industry knowledge to position Sysfloo.ai and Sysfloo.com as leaders in the SaaS space.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, with at least 2 years in a startup or SaaS environment.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
- Strong knowledge of SaaS business models, including subscription sales and customer retention strategies.
- Experience working with sales automation tools, CRMs, and AI-driven technologies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
