Supporting Actions :
- Handling end to end reinsurance portfolio
- Liaison with reinsurer for Proportional, non-proportional treaties and facultative quotes
- Resolution of queries raised by reinsurer by coordination with other departments
- Preparation of reinsurance slips
- Preparation of Bordereau (detailed report of loses & premiums affected by reinsurance)
- Preparation of Reinsurance MIS
- Maintain documentation/data related to reinsurance treaties including facultative treaties
- Assist in internal and statutory audits related to reinsurance matters
- Assist and share data or information in manner and form related to reinsurance with internal stakeholders as approved
- Ensure FAC payments to reinsurers / receipt of premium (RI inward) within PPW date
- Coordinate with Claims department for Claims documents / details
- Ensure recoveries from Reinsurers / payments to Reinsurers as per timelines
- Allocation of FAC cases as per the premium register
- Keep a record of all outward FAC placements and inward acceptances
- Keep updated with Regulatory / compliance related requirements & ensure to align processes accordingly
- Preliminary loss notification for all claims to the reinsurer within defined timelines
- Prepare IRDAI FAC statements, public disclosure details, RI exposure statement
- Assist in the implementation of the Company's Reinsurance Program based on the Company's objectives
- Maintain a business relationship with internal as well as external stake holders including Underwriting, Finance & Actuary departments and local, regional and international reinsurance markets
