Job Title: Sales Manager - Pre-Engineered Building (PEB)
Location: Pune, India (with domestic and international travel as required)
Job Description:
Position Summary: As a Sales Manager for Pre-Engineered Building, you will be responsible for leading the sales efforts, developing new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth. This role demands a proactive and strategic individual who can identify potential clients, understand their needs, and offer tailor-made PEB solutions. You will also. need to effectively manage a team of sales professionals, oversee project bids, and collaborate with various departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and customer-centricity within the sales team.
2. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both domestically and internationally, by understanding market trends and customer needs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, industry partners, and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.
3. Key Account Management:
- Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts and high-value clients.
- Ensure a deep understanding of client requirements and proactively offer PEB solutions to meet their needs.
- Resolve client issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
4. Sales Operations:
Prepare and review sales proposals, contracts, and quotations in collaboration with the technical and operations teams.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, forecasts, and KPIs regularly.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral and promotional materials.
5. International Travel:
Be prepared to travel within India and internationally as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, and explore new market opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the Pre-Engineered Building industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of construction and engineering concepts, particularly in PEB.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Result-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
