Manager - Sales - Online Hotel Relations (5-7 yrs)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a B2B Online Hotel Relations Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with hotels and accommodation providers to expand our platform's inventory and ensure competitive pricing for our clients. The B2B Online Hotel Portal Relations Manager will play a critical role in negotiating contracts, optimizing inventory distribution, and driving revenue growth for the company.
JD :
- Identify and research potential hotel partners in key markets, evaluating their suitability based on criteria such as location, quality, pricing, and availability.
- Co-ordinating between hotels, channel managers and our technology partner to bring properties live on the portal.
- Negotiate contracts and partnership agreements with hotels and accommodation providers to secure favorable rates, terms, and inventory allocations for our platform.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with hotel partners, serving as the primary point of contact for contract negotiations, ongoing communication, and issue resolution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to identify opportunities for expanding our hotel inventory and enhancing our value proposition.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, product development, and technology, to ensure seamless integration of hotel inventory and optimize distribution channels.
- Analyze performance data and metrics to track contract compliance, revenue generation, and profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to maximize results.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on contract negotiations, partner relationships, and market dynamics.
- Assuring all contracted hotels are regularly displaying on the portal front end.
- Managing pre-sales and post-sales operational issues with the hotels.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in hotel contracting and distribution, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, networking with potential partners and promoting our platform's capabilities.
Candidate profile :
Must :
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar capacity.
- Proven experience in hotel relations, sales, or revenue management within the travel industry, with a strong network of hotel contacts and industry knowledge.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and close deals.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making and results-oriented performance.
- Ability to manage the portal back-end in property creation, mapping, rate and availability management.
- Proficiency in contract management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
Preferred :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or related field.
- Experience in Online Travel companies.
- Flexibility to travel as required for meetings, conferences, and industry events.
