Manager - Sales - Modern Trade - FMCG (1-5 yrs)

- As the Modern Trade Sales Manager (Delhi NCR), you will be responsible for leading and managing the modern trade sales team to achieve sales targets, drive business growth, and develop strong relationships with key accounts within the modern trade channel. You will play a pivotal role in strategizing, planning, and executing sales initiatives to maximize market share, revenue, and profitability in the modern trade sector.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Sales Strategy and Planning :

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the modern trade channel in alignment with overall company objectives.

- Identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights to refine the sales approach.

- Set ambitious sales targets and objectives for the modern trade team, ensuring they are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time- bound).

2. Team Leadership and Management :

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of modern trade sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.

3. Key Account Management :

- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and retailers in the modern trade sector.

- Negotiate and finalize business agreements, contracts, and terms with key clients.

4. Sales Execution :

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, market share expansion, and profitability within the modern trade channel.

- Monitor and analyze sales performance data, making necessary adjustments to achieve optimal results.

- Ensure that product placement, pricing, and promotional activities are in line with the company's branding and positioning.

5. Reporting and Analysis :

- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis for senior management.

- Provide insights and recommendations based on sales data and market trends to drive informed decision-making.
