Manager - Sales & Marketing - Machinery Equipments (4-9 yrs)
Job Description
We currently are looking for a HARDCORE SALES PERSON for a client into Wholesale of machinery, equipment, and supplies.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales:
Sales planning, forecasting for the year with the management. To achieve agreed sales targets, pipeline and order intake
Identify & generate Pan India business needs
Lead generation for new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions;
Adding business with existing customers in form of project inquiries.
Business development in the domains of Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Steels, Food & Beverages, Power, Pharmaceuticals, FMCG.
Regular client visit to generate inquiries, understand customers requirements and preparing to customize solutions for them.
Initiate tendering process, preparation of techno-commercial bids, to participate in pre bid discussion
Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts.
Negotiating tender and finalization of contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
Subsequently to coordinate delivery with commercial, payment realization etc.
Client Relationship:
Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements;
Working on after-sales support services and coordinate in providing technical back up as required;
Identify and prioritize key opportunities and maintaining activity list of key principal Rockwell Automation for the allocated territories.
Marketing, Training & MIS:
Maintain continuous awareness of competitor and third party equipment.
Support marketing activities; attend conferences and exhibitions, meeting with customers and agents so to travel frequently.
Provide support and input for marketing activities such as brochure design, mail shots, exhibitions etc.
Presenting MIS reports to management regularly.
Maintain and update relevant customer database to support the marketing databases.
Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team.
Input data into MIS to feed the sales forecast for the assigned territory.
Maintain up to date knowledge of client equipment.

Desired Candidate Profile
Essentials
At least last 5yrs to be in Project sales / Front ending sales.
Must have experience of sales of automation projects in the domains like Chemicals, O&G, Pharma, fertilizer, manufacturing plants etc
Preferred experience of pre sales / technical bids preparation
May have started work in projects/pre sales and then moved to front ending sales.
Should have brought in the business of projects from the above domains.
Self-starter, proactive approach, strong in communication skills
Behavioural Skills
Excellent communications both written and verbal in English, with an ability to converse in the local language of the region to establish quick relations with customers.
