Manager - Sales - Lightning Protection & Earthing Solutions (8-10 yrs)
Job Description :
- Looking for highly motivated and experienced sales professionals with up to 8-10 years of experience to join our Field Services Sales team at the Mumbai location. This position reports to the Director at Head office.
- This "business-to-business" sales professional should be able to prospect target accounts for new business, maintain an existing territory of business as well as establish and work with partners for the West India market (comprising the states of Gujarat, MP, Maharashtra, Goa)
- The candidate should have worked in a Managrial sales role in managing electrical products/solutions sales business for a min period of 3-years in the past experience with an organization of repute.
- Should have managed a downline sales team earlier.
- Will be responsible for working closely with major Electrical Consultants/MEP & EPC Electrical Contractor / Builder offices for understanding the Project requirements & defining the Technical Specifications -Tendering - Bid Preparation -Order Booking-Installation support.
- Good Contacts & Network with the Electrical Consultants/Contractors is mandatory
- The candidate shall be responsible for managing sales, after sales, including payment collection (direct & distribution accounts) for the West India market (comprising the states of Gujarat, MP, Maharashtra, Goa)
- Shall require managing a team of 3-4 downline Sales Engineers team and their sales cycle (enquiry prospection - quotation - technical & commercial negotiations - follow up for order-shipment-POD submission to accounts-bill submission to the customer-timely payment recovery)
- Shall be responsible for achieving the sales and collection targets for the region.
- Preparation of monthly sales forecasts and sales implementation plans for the team and delivery of monthly performance reports for the entire branch.
- Maintaining existing business and securing new ones
- Managing and developing existing Customer Base, develop new customers and secure consultant approvals.
- To gain market share in the Lightning Protection & Earthing Solutions business within the region
- Keep track of market trends, competitors, business cycles and new projects in the branch area and report these to the Head Office
- The Candidate should be ready to travel extensively.
- He should be a good communicator with leadership skills, responsible for managing sales, revenue generation & identifying & maintaining good rapport / relationship with the clients.
- Candidates would be well versed in the area of operation (all active Western India markets) with good market knowledge
