Manager - Sales - IT Products (7-10 yrs)
- Leads the effort and execute a yearly sales plan which would include both hunting and farming aspects in selling new generation products to telecom players in assigned territory.
- Build and own relationships with the assigned operators and ensure a good brand experience.
- Build and lead new business by creating and regularly updating individual brand sales strategies with the partners by utilizing the understanding of customer business issues, objectives and growth strategies.
- Responsible for achieving sales target for the financial year in the tunes of more than 10 Cr.
- Engaging and proposing the development of new marketing propositions
- Devising go to market plan for our services, driving and coordinating the pace of execution
- Achieving target levels of new business through effective management of a team of sales professionals, introducing partners, network distributors and prospects.
- Implementation of Sales Strategy that addresses different geographical sales coverage
- regularly report achievements versus budget forecasts to the Senior Management Team.
- To manage the Market Excellence/Intelligence process; gathering market and customer information and providing feedback on future trends, to support sales campaigns.
- To work closely with the Operations Team to ensure successful smooth delivery of client services.
- Generates and achieves monthly/quarterly forecasts and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis.
- Expected to work closely with engineering team to define new solutions and opportunity areas to grow the brand business.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science/communication technology or related field.
- Minimum 8yrs years of sales or sales management experience within telecom industry in VAS space.
- In-depth understanding of Telco products/infrastructure/technology choices and prevalence
- Demonstrated intense customer focus and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated highest level of integrity, intellectual honesty, and strong work ethic.
- Proven ability to successfully thrive in an ambiguous environment and changing market conditions.
- Develops original ideas, approaches and solutions to typical, unusual or difficult situations or problems.
- Consistent effort, intense commitment, and willingness to go above and beyond when needed.
- Have a successful track record of delivering sales in line with budgets within a Senior Sales role
- Have Sales track record which is achieved within the Telecom VAS sector
- Have in depth understanding of sales systems to support successful sales delivery
- Have strong organizational, time management, negotiation, communication skills
- Have a minimum 8-9yrs years of relevant sales experience with very good relationship with Indian Telecom operators, OEMs, NEPs.
- Should have built VPs/CXO level engagements in Telecom Operators.
- Exposure to manage other territories is desirable
- Should have owned and achieved sales target of - 1 M$
