Our client is an IT Consultancy startup based in the United Kingdom. They provide IT technology solutions for our clients which include resource augmentation and end-to-end project deliverables. They are a startup looking to make a mark in this industry by utilizing our extensive background experience in technologies.
The Job
Our client is looking for an IT sales professional, who will usually work with commercial clients, finding the right technological hardware and software products to suit their business needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying new business development opportunities
- Driving lead generation efforts and new client acquisition through various channels.
- Creating pitches and proposals including requirements gathering for successful conversion of leads.
- Understanding and analyzing business & technical requirements from clients.
- Conducting introductory calls and following up with clients both online and offline.
- Initiating and cultivating high-level client relationships with key decision-makers to build a trusted partnership
- Put in place Strategies and plans to ensure 100% presence across all emerging business opportunities within the identified business verticals & also ensure that the company emerges -- Build a good Sales Network, enhanced Prospects list, and Sales Pipeline.
- Interacting with all functional heads of the client company to understand their business processes/complexities for mapping appropriate IT solutions and responsible for end-to-end sales
- Co-ordinating, leading, motivating, and mobilizing the company Sales, Pre Sales, Marketing, and Delivery teams
- Developing and managing a portfolio of Key Accounts.
- Achieving monthly sales targets by identifying and developing new customers.
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction as well as upsell and cross-sell potential within existing customers to maximize share of wallet.
- Coordinating pre-sales and post-sales follow-up.
- Achieving and exceeding weekly and monthly KPIs.
- Building strong and collaborative relationships with other internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback.
- Identifying opportunities for new business development through following up on leads and conducting research on target clients.
- New business generation by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant solutions.
- Managing the sales process to close new business opportunities.
- Building strong relationships with the existing portfolio of clients.
- Meeting and exceeding weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.
Ideal Candidate
Skills required:
- You Must have Bachelor's degree in Business or IT
- You Must understand the sales cycle for IT
- You Must be aware of current trends impacting sales and navigate through the challenges close deals
- You Must be currently driving IT Sales for mid-sales mandates / large ticket size
- You Must have the ability to strike deals - i.e to forecast accurately and close opportunities
- You have at least 6 years of experience within a Business Development / Account Manager (B2B) role, ideally within the IT Software industry.
- You have prior experience in dealing with Dealers, Distributors, and Key Accounts.
- You possess solid expertise in Direct Sales and Enterprise Sales.
