Manager - Sales - IT (5-12 yrs)
Position Overview:
The Manager Sales IT role combines sales management expertise with a strong understanding of information technology and its impact on sales processes. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to align sales objectives with technology solutions, enabling effective sales operations and maximizing revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sales Process Optimization : Collaborate with sales teams to identify areas for process improvement and automation. Streamline sales workflows, implement best practices, and leverage technology solutions to increase sales productivity, shorten sales cycles, and enhance customer experience.
- Sales Reporting and Analytics : Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales operations and develop reporting frameworks to track and measure sales performance. Provide insights and analysis based on data-driven reports to support strategic decision-making by sales leadership.
- Sales Technology Strategy : Develop and implement a comprehensive sales technology strategy aligned with the organization's sales goals and objectives. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies that can enhance sales processes, improve efficiency, and drive revenue growth.
- System Management : Oversee the administration, customization, and maintenance of sales systems, such as customer relationship management (CRM) software, sales analytics tools, sales enablement platforms, and other relevant applications. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security within the sales systems.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with sales leaders, IT teams, and other stakeholders to align sales technology initiatives with business objectives. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between sales teams and IT departments to drive successful implementation and adoption of sales technology solutions.
- Training and Support : Develop training programs and provide ongoing support to sales teams to ensure they are proficient in using sales technology tools. Conduct regular training sessions, create documentation, and provide guidance on system functionalities and best practices.
- Vendor Management : Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers related to sales technology. Monitor service level agreements, negotiate contracts, and assess vendor performance to ensure high-quality and cost-effective solutions.
- Security and Compliance : Stay updated on relevant data privacy and security regulations, ensuring sales technology systems comply with industry standards and internal policies. Implement appropriate security measures to protect sales data and customer information.

BE - CS/ IT/ Elec background with ASM (minimum of 18 month stint) in FMC
