Manager - Sales - IT (5-10 yrs)
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Responsible for business development and handling day to day operations in the respective city - will require to manage sales and operations team in the city.
- Take ownership and execute all client needs to ensure client satisfaction - Maintain a long lasting relationship with the client
- Reach out to target number of clients in the assigned sectors on monthly basis.
- Detail out the Porter's offerings to the clients and understand their requirements
- Performance monitoring, cost and process optimization of the operations to ensure profitability of the region
- Work closely with the supervisors (client POCs), supply team and Institutional team to convert leads into business
- Maintain target levels of reliability by working with POCs & supply team
- Maintain understanding of the dynamics in client's business to sense threats & opportunities early on
- Identify new requirements to be converted into products depending on client feedback
- Over a period of time, develop contacts in the industry to be able to generate leads independently

- Strong persuasive skills using information at hand and logical arguments
- Strong negotiating skills
- Ability to seal the deal
- Strong network in logistics/related industry preferred

- Highly performance driven and smart
- Zero tolerance for issues - Must be a perfectionist
- 3-5 years of experience in Business Development or related role
