Manager - Sales - IT (2-3 yrs)
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To maintain an efficient and harmonious working environment among employees, clients and managers.
- Communicate and provide information by relevant methods internally and externally to assist and enable organizational operations and effective service to connecting groups.
- Arrange and participate in meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
- Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, and quality management.
- Adhere to procedures relating to the proper use and care of equipment and materials for which the role has responsibility.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- All customer facing communication for the region
- Expanding the sales opportunities within the region by locating new opportunities (product mix & right balance of products maintaining the overall profitability of the Sales done)
- Penetrating deeper to discover new opportunities
- Responsible for site financials up to and including budgets, forecasting, and monthly P&L.
- Organizes, supervises and directs the work of Sales Team.
- Demonstrates initiative and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relationship management with OEM's.
- Establishing marketing events that support demand generation and market profile for the company by working with company's marketing team;
- Recommends and sets departmental goals and objectives, deploying company resources to accomplish.
- Participate in strategic and operational planning and development of annual operating budgets for the business. Meet or exceed an annual sales plan.
- Provide Management with accurate and timely reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
- Align with and support other management staff functions in the development and implementation of short-term and long-term plans to meet business objectives.
- Be one of several points of contact for all emergency situations.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
- Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue and expense controls.
- Meeting planned sales goals.
- Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
- Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
- Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
- Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
- The ongoing training of your salespeople.
- Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education.
- Promoting the organization and products.
