Manager - Sales - Insurance (4-10 yrs)
Location : Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi/NCR
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Preparing sales pitches and relevant collateral
- Doing a thorough mapping of potential clients and effectively prioritizing them and then charting the sales strategy/approach
- Building strong interpersonal relationships with key client decision-makers (middle/senior management)
- Making effective sales presentations based on the identified needs of the prospects and handling negotiations effectively
- Manage complex sales situations in acquiring new clients and up-sell/ cross-sell to existing ones
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences - Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
Who should apply for these roles?

- You have sound business acumen and are persistent in spotting the right leads, following up and converting them to successful clients
- You have built and maintained relationships with key clients, which have delivered significant impact in your current/previous firms
- You have immaculate selling skills and can deliver the most effective targeted pitches
- You can coordinate with teams - both internal and external, and deliver successful outcomes
Experience :
- For middle levels, you have at least 4+ years of experience in corporate sales/business development, interfacing with corporates/other institutions, B2B insurance background preferred
- For senior levels, you have at least 7+ years of experience in corporate sales/business development, interfacing with corporates/other institutions. B2B insurance background preferred
