Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Manager - Import and Export to oversee export sales operations. This role demands a strong focus on air freight sales and will require managing customer relationships, logistics, and documentation to ensure seamless export and import operations. The candidate will work full-time on-site and play a pivotal role in business development and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development
- Develop and execute strategies to drive air export and import sales.
- Identify and target new business opportunities to expand the client base.
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders in international trade.
- Provide accurate pricing, quotations, and service information to customers.
Export Operations Management
- Coordinate with clients and logistics teams to ensure timely shipment and delivery.
- Handle all aspects of air export documentation, including customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Address client inquiries and resolve issues efficiently to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Conduct follow-ups on sales leads and customer feedback.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with the operations and logistics teams to streamline processes.
- Support other departments in achieving organizational goals and maintaining service excellence.
Qualifications and Skills
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, International Relations, or a related field.
- 1 to 2 years of experience in air export and import sales or related fields.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of air export/import regulations and documentation processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
