Manager - Sales - Hospitality (3-10 yrs)
Job Summary :
A 4 star property in Silchar is looking for an energetic team player with exceptional sales skills.
- The person will be in charge of developing a sales and marketing plan that includes but not limited to soliciting new group sales accounts and maintaining relationship with the existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue goals.
Responsibilities :
- Identify new business leads by examining local market trends and competition activity.
- Generate new business, close deals and increase revenue by cold calling, on site visits and community networking.
- Tie ups with booking platforms, travel companies and airlines for long term contract.
- Develop and conduct persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients to maximize revenues.
- Participate in daily business review meeting, pre-convention meetings, training and other sales-related meetings as required.
- Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings.
- Knowledge of market trends, competition and key customers of the hotel.
Requirements :
- Graduate with experience of Sales in the hospitality industry.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.
- Knowledge of hotel features, benefits, and competing hotels within the market
- Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player.
- Able to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
- The ability to effectively communicate with supervisors, coworkers, public, guests, and vendors.
