Profile: Sales Manager-Health Agency
Purpose:
To achieve the budgeted sales target for the Health Agency vertical at the office level
Location: Cluster Office
Reporting to: Cluster Manager
Span of Control (Nos of Reportees ):
Nil at joining and will depend on business requirements
Responsibilities:
- Mapping of potential agents who can sell Health Insurance (Indemnity & Benefit products ) and Travel Insurance in the assigned area
- Identify and present Agency business model pitch to the prospected agents
- Recruit agents as per IRDA guidelines on Licensing of Individual Agents
- Ensure proper training of Agents on Company's product, policies, sales process, acceptance and rejection criteria and claims servicing/settlement guidelines
- Maximise mobilization through regular follow-ups & strengthening of relationships with agents
- Balance agent's Health Insurance portfolio with variety of Health Insurance offerings by the company and ensure profitability
- Ensure constant updates on Health Insurance product offerings of RGICL and Underwriting changes to agents
- Ensure Lower dormancy ratio of active Vs total agents
Regular follow-up and coordination :
1. Service Centre Operations team for Pre Policy Health Checkups of customers and coordinate with agents for faster TAT
2. Service Centre Operations team for Open and pending cases for policy issuance
3. Service centre Claims team for Claims settlement/query letters for faster settlement
- Organize Monthly Unit meetings with agents to identify gaps, update on recent development and plan for business as a team

Qualification and Experience :
- MBA/Graduate
- 1 to 5 years experience in Sales, experience in Health Insurance channel/company would be an added advantage
- Preferred Industries - Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health Insurance, Banking -CASA, Telecommunication (managing channel partners)
