Manager - Sales & Fundraising - Education (5-7 yrs)
- The role is with an educational organisation that deals with education in the lower income classrooms. The organisation is funded by the Bill Gates foundation as well as several other reputed organisations.
- The organisation has innovated several key products; as well as a project that helps in raising funds for the requirements of the lower income classrooms.
- The role is a combination of Sales and Fundraising. The Fund raising aspect will involve liaising with CSR arms of corporate houses & HNI who are interested in contributing to the social cause of education.
- The incumbent should have experience and interest in the social sector, and specifically should understand the sensitivity of the conversations around fund raising and direct sales related to the educational sector.
- The role is a mid-level management role and the candidate will report to the Director of Sales of the Company.
Key Role Aspects :
- Identify and acquire new business plus retain and grow the existing business through in-person meetings and calls on a daily basis. Market interactions and quality client engagement will be a key parameter.
- Lead and manage direct sales and support the CEO in fund raising for various campaigns.
- To connect with and sell the company's Learning tools to educational institutions across India.
- To build strategic business relationships with stakeholders like Government bodies and NGOs in the education space.
- Connect with CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) arms of corporate organizations to negotiate funds and support for projects.
- To create and manage long term alliances with educational and non-educational supportive organisations. Employee will be responsible for a team of sales representatives across the country to maintain growth and achieve sales targets.
- To support the Director of growth in managing the direct sales and school implementation projects
- Device creative solutions to grow business.
- Create efficient and goal-driven performance measures for the sales team and regularly track performance based on these measures.
