Job Summary :

- Trinity Cargo Services is an enthusiastic startup with a Vision to offer complete logistic expertise to the large, medium & small corporates across industries and business segments at best pricing and best quality services & transportation modes.

- We are on a hunt for The Rock Star (Manager - Sales) who is a go getter & in love with numbers. A flare to explore & capture the markets (domestic & international) with great sales strategies. A well-known & well networked individual with a brand value in the industry who will launch Trinity Cargo Services in the market. This position will closely work with the

- Management to build and shape The Company.

Duties & Responsibilities :

- This position focuses on Growing the business- new business acquisition, to offer best in class, executive level management solutions to customers who are currently underserviced from their current service provider.

- This position will be responsible to vouch for the creditworthiness of the clients.

- Administer concurrent sales initiative from proposal stage through customer acceptance and implementation.

- Focus on value- based selling in which a customer develops a long term partnership with company.

- Increase revenue by maximizing profits through price strategies & margin control.

- Generate revenue by procuring new customers through prospecting and face- to- face meetings.

- Responsible for collection of timely payments from clients.

- Achieve Set Targets related to business development and contribute profitability to the Organization.

- Setting up SOP - Sales Operating procedure or MOP - Master Operating Plans (e.g., later pick up times, etc.) to satisfy customer complaints / needs.

- Responsible for selling value based logistics solutions

- Responsible for cross selling new services to clients for Air Freight and Sea Ocean Freight

- Responsible for identifying market trends and competitive rate actions and communicating those trends to the management team

- Responsible for identifying the competitive service strengths and weaknesses of the company and making recommendations for continuous improvement initiatives

- Responsible for understanding pricing and cost components associated with proposed solutions

- Responsible for other duties including sales presentations, developing deliverables, coordinating, implementation, creating and adding to existing marketing materials where appropriate.

- Responsible to develop and groom a sales team to achieve the set sales target.

Desired Candidate Profile :

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or related discipline.

- Post graduate diploma / MBA in Business Administration.

- Minimum 10 years of Business Development exp. in the freight forwarding industry is mandatory.

- Excellent communication skills (Written & Spoken - Business & Local Language)

- Effective sales, customer service, interpersonal, negotiation and client handling skills.

- Good market knowledge of transportation and logistics industry required.

- Experience in handling the queries & escalations of clients if any

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products required.

- Ability to lead, develop & groom the sales team.
