Manager - Sales - Freight Forwarding (3-5 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced Freight Forwarding Sales/Sales Manager to join our team in the freight forwarding industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in sales within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the freight forwarding sector to achieve sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new clients to expand the customer base.
- Market Research : Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Sales Strategy : Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to increase market share and revenue.
- Proposal Management : Prepare and present competitive quotations, proposals, and tenders to potential clients.
- Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Performance Tracking : Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on sales activities and outcomes.
- Negotiation : Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure profitable contracts and maintain competitive pricing.
Skills Required :
- Proven experience in sales within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding processes and services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships effectively.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
