Job description
Roles and Responsibilities (Along with Skills Required)
1. Execute the sales plan in line with the company's sales strategy.
2. Relationship management with existing clients, including major FMCG brands and European retail chains.
3. Develop strategies and ensure execution to rope in prospective clients by understanding how they relate to our products.
4. Research new markets for existing production and new products for existing markets, identify and exploit current market trends in our product space.
5. Increase sales of RPET sheet and thermoformed products made from recycled PET.
6. Increase sales via clients in various industries, including pharmaceutical, medical applications, industrial packaging, etc.
7. Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
8. Provide on-the-ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals.
9. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting, set targets, and ensure meeting the goal.
10. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
11. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure product availability, quality, and timely delivery.
Represent the company at industry events and trade shows, as required.
Qualifications & Skills :
1. Bachelor's degree in Packaging, Polymers, Business, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably within the packaging industry, with a focus on sustainable packaging solutions.
3. Demonstrated success in expanding export markets and securing new clients.
4. Knowledge of sustainability solutions and experience in promoting waste reduction with brands.
5. Experience in business development and sales of sustainable packaging is preferred.
6. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
