Manager - Sales - Ferrous Scrap (4-8 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
- Drive business development and sales initiatives for ferrous scrap (preferably steel/metal scrap) to meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.
- Develop strategic sales plans and effectively communicate these plans to upper management.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
- Analyze market trends and identify new business opportunities within the ferrous scrap sector.
- Monitor and report on sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling sales proposals that exceed client expectations.
- Address customer issues promptly to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 4-8+ years of experience in sales management/business development, specifically in the ferrous scrap industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate others.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in analyzing sales data and market trends.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
