Sales Manager - Team Lead

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Lead to lead our sales efforts, develop new strategies, and manage a high-performing team across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall Sales Strategy:

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company targets and drive business growth across multiple locations.

- Identify new business opportunities and markets to expand the company's presence and customer base.

- Align sales initiatives with company goals, ensuring consistent performance and long-term growth.

Team Leadership & Management:

- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of sales professionals across various locations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and performance standards.

- Provide guidance, training, and support to the sales team to ensure high levels of productivity and success.

- Conduct regular team meetings to review sales performance, set targets, and provide feedback.

Sales Performance & Reporting:

- Monitor, track, and analyze the performance of sales teams and individual salespersons.

- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and opportunities to the Director and Managing Director (MD).

- Ensure the achievement of sales targets, KPIs, and business development objectives.

Business Development:

- Identify and establish partnerships with key clients, suppliers, and other industry stakeholders.

- Explore and evaluate new business avenues, including new products, services, and market segments.

- Negotiate and close large-scale business deals and contracts.

Customer Relationship Management:

- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients and accounts.

- Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and work to enhance overall customer experience.

- Lead major customer meetings and negotiations for key accounts.

Market Research & Analysis:

- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies in the electrical sector.

- Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities and assess customer needs.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the electrical or engineering industry.

- Proven experience in managing sales teams, lead generation, and achieving sales targets.

- Strong understanding of the electrical product market, sales strategies, and business development techniques.

- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to think strategically and execute plans effectively.

- Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform decision-making.

- Proficiency in CRM tools, sales software, and reporting systems.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in managing teams across different locations or regions.

- Strong network and relationships within the electrical or industrial sector.

- Ability to understand technical products and provide customer-focused solutions.
