Manager - Sales - Education (3-6 yrs)
Job Description :
- We seek a motivated and experienced Team Lead to oversee our Career Specialists and Academic Counsellors team. The successful candidate will lead and mentor the team, ensure effective communication with prospective students, and contribute to achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities :
Team Management :
- Led and supervised a team of tele-callers to ensure they meet and exceeded sales targets.
- Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor call quality and adherence to guidelines.
- Ensure accurate records of interactions, customer details, and call outcomes in the CRM system.
Sales Strategy :
- Collaborate with the business leadership to develop and implement sales strategies.
- Set clear and achievable sales targets for the team.
- Assist in creating and refining sales scripts and call guides.
- Track team performance and report on critical metrics to management.
- Tracking and maintaining a healthy lead-to-conversion ratio.
Customer Relationship Management :
- Oversee customer interactions to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries or complaints effectively.
- Promote a customer-centric approach within the team.
Data Analysis :
- Analyse sales data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Generate reports on team performance and present findings to management.
- Proficiency in CRM & data points for effective utilisation of leads.
Training and Development :
- Organise and conduct regular training sessions for the team on product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Keep the team updated on changes in products or services.
Compliance and Quality Assurance :
- Ensure team members adhere to company policies and guidelines.
- Conduct regular call quality checks to maintain a high standard of communication.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in team leadership, preferably in a sales or educational counselling environment.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve objectives.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a tele-calling or sales role is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of other regional languages is a plus.
