Manager - Sales Development - Insurance (2-4 yrs)
Job Description:
- Maintaining relationships with previous clients by following up with them on a regular basis to ensure that they are satisfied with the products or services they purchased
- Researching potential new markets for the company's products or services
- Creating sales activity reports for company managers, including lead generation and status.
- Identifying new business opportunities within existing markets for expansion by contacting potential clients to introduce new products or services
- Creating training programmed to help other employees in the organization improve their sales skills
- Investigating new industry technologies to see how they might affect the company's products or services.
- Meetings with potential clients to discuss their needs and see if the company can meet them
- Negotiating contracts with clients
Skills:
- Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals
- Demonstrated success achieving quotas through direct selling efforts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Salesforce.com or similar CRM software
