Manager - Sales Development - Agency Channel - Insurance (2-4 yrs)
The Life Insurance Agent is responsible for selling life insurance policies to clients through the agency channel.
- The agent will be responsible for prospecting, selling, and servicing life insurance policies, as well as building and maintaining client relationships.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, and other marketing strategies.
- Meet with clients to discuss their life insurance needs and recommend appropriate policies.
- Explain features, advantages, and disadvantages of various policies to promote sales of insurance plans.
- Customize insurance programs to suit individual client requirements, often covering a variety of risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering a high level of customer service.
- Process applications for life insurance policies, including collecting required documentation, underwriting, and completing the necessary paperwork.
- Keep detailed records of policies sold and clients contacted, and follow up with clients as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in insurance regulations to ensure compliance.
- Meet or exceed sales targets as set by the agency.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve knowledge and skills.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in any stream
- Proven work experience in Sales and Marketing of Mini. 2 Years
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strategic thinker with great analytical skill
