Sales Manager/Business Development Manager
- The organization is a leading manufacturer and supplier which conceives, engineers, develops and manufactures the most wide-ranging and all-embracing range of heavy and extra heavy-duty wheels and Castors, catering to industries like Automotive, Medical Devices, pharma, Material Handling, Aviation, Textile, Food Industry.
Purpose : Lead Business Development effort (New client Acquisition & relationship management), including CRM, for the organization for the assigned region or Accounts or Segment (or a combination) and generate revenues as per the market potential in the region and deliver on the Sales target (BD & CRM).
KRA's :
1 Develop a sales plan (for the year) & define the priorities (BD & CRM) to be pursued Quarter on Quarter to achieve the targets
2 Assess the client base including possible industry segment additions in the region on a regular basis and create a plan of action to break into new accounts. Develop a healthy sales funnel that is reflective of market potential and meeting of monthly, quarterly, annual sales targets.
3 Nurture relationships with existing accounts (CRM) to enhance sale of company's products and initiate necessary actions, activities to identify and convert opportunities
4 Invest in building new relationships, contacts (new customers) and use it to generate leads for new business.
5 Assess the impact of actions and make necessary changes in consultation with Domestic sales head
6 Leverage SF from prospecting to revenue generation (its features, reports and dashboard) to maintain an accurate record of opportunities, leads, wins and losses.
7 Plan the weekly, monthly, quarterly visit plans and stay engaged with customers existing and new.
8 Gather market, customer intelligence including competition update and share observations with Domestic Sales head
9 Report out performance accomplishments, misses on a regular basis with Domestic Head and initiate midcourse correction where necessary.
10 Collaborate with CSD & Marketing to ensure seamless delivery of products, samples and necessary marketing materials to enhance sales impact.
11 Refresh sales skills by participating in skill building interventions assigned by the organization
Requirement :
- An Engineering Graduate/Postgraduate with relevant acquisition in New Business Development/Client Acquistion in Automotive/Process Industry/Automation/Precision instruments/Textile Machinery/Fasteners/Auto parts/tools/Medical Devices/ Light engineering, bearings
