Manager - Sales/Business Development - Intelligence Firm (2-7 yrs)
Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, taking the lead in the following areas:
1. Business development and revenue generation:
- Responsible for evaluating sales opportunities, pipeline development and business case presentation for new and existing clients in the given geography. Expand market penetration and grow the profits
- Puts product / technical knowledge to commercial use and prepares estimates in accordance with sales and pricing policy
2. Customer management
- Drive high standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout all areas of the business and sales process
- Demonstrate high account management standards to ensure customer satisfaction
3. Benchmarking
- Responsible for data collection for the regularly benchmarking product against thesource, data, and competitors
4. Functional efficiency
- Takes accountability for completing projects (for which he/she is responsible) on time and conforming to the standards set
5. Leadership & People Management
- Provide ongoing, two-way coaching and feedback with direct reports to ensure delivery of high quality of performance
Candidate Profile
Experience
- 3-8 years in Corporate / B2B sales
- Prior experience of working in a product company would be an advantage
Education
- A degree from tier 1 institute
- MBA preferable but not a constraint for the right candidate
