About the Role :
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join our dynamic sales team as a Sales & Business Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated territory, developing new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve assigned sales targets for new and used forklifts, parts, and service contracts.
- Identify and qualify potential leads through market research, networking, and cold calling.
- Conduct effective sales presentations, tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring competitive pricing and mutually beneficial terms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, providing exceptional service and exceeding expectations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new forklift technologies.
- Prepare and deliver informative sales reports and presentations.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing initiatives to support sales efforts.
Participate in industry events and trade shows to generate leads and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, service, etc.) to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5-15 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably within the forklift industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong relationship-building abilities and a genuine passion for customer service.
- Deep understanding of the forklift industry and its various applications.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of energy, enthusiasm, and self-motivation.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record (may be required).
