Manager - Sales & Business Development - Consumer Durables/Electrical Appliances/Solar Energy (2-7 yrs)
Role: Manager, Sales & Business development:
The person will be responsible for setting up the complete sales channel in respective territory and ensure consistent business is delivered through it. He will own complete responsibility of achieving ramp-up of sales numbers from zero to - N- in his territory by implementing strategy devised by company leadership and also giving own input. It is an important position in a new age consumer durable company who will deliver new markets to the organization.
1) On-board new channel partners who can promote the company products in assigned markets. Typically he will be assigned one full state so there will be travelling of at least 10-15 days a month.
2) Generate and close institutional leads through such channel partners. The candidate should be able to sell the product to a variety of people. These range from owners of manufacturing SMEs, heads of small or large educational institutions or even small home owners
3) Implement BTL activities to promote the product in various markets. Represent the company in various exhibitions, trade association meetings
4) Build and maintain relationships with influencers like architects, energy consultants, ESCOs.

Eligibility :
- Min. 2 years of work experience in sales in consumer durables, electrical appliances or solar energy. Exposure of direct sell to end clients or experience of business development to schools/colleges/Hospitals etc, should have work experience of working with influencers like - architects, electrical consultants, Solar integrators, Institutional distributor- of that particular state.
Educational qualification :
- Should be extremely efficient in using MS excel and CRM systems
Team Structure :
The position reports directly to the sales head of the company, which is a core leadership position. So he will have good exposure at the core team platform leading to a fast track of career development
