Manager - Sales - Architectural Specification (8-10 yrs)
Purpose :
To implement solution selling strategies for maximizing long term value creation by adopting company's principles and framework to continuously improve customer experience, services and products and customer mix for sustainable growth of Architectural Product market in the area.
Objectives :
1. To implement strategies for providing best in the industry customer experience by driving product specifications with architects, specifiers and project management consultants that creates strong customer relationships and provides a competitive advantage for the company.
2. Maximize long term profitability through product and customer optimization.
3. To meet and generate demand of the products through Architects, Technical consultant, Aluminium cladders, processors, real estate developers and others in value chain of business.
4. Strive to achieve 100% compliance by implementing companies guiding principles and active implementation of the Code of Conduct and commercial sales related policies.
5. Seek and use sound knowledge of GGL product portfolio and recommend new developments as demanded by the market
Principal Accountabilities :
1. To provide solutions to architects and project management consultants that drives value for proposal.
2. Responsible for specification and sales of Architectural product sales through Architects, consultants, contractors and builders.
3. To implement specification strategy for coated and other interior products.
4. Strive to build superior confidence on the brand with government agencies, green councils other certification bodies and architectures engaged in promoting related products.
5. Implement technical sales, solution selling and will be accountable for executing the plan and exceeding specification targets of related products.
6. Maintain and update project details in CRM
Qualifications :
Candidate should be full time Bachelor degree in Engineering with MBA Marketing from premier college.
Experience :
The candidate should have 6 - 8 years of experience in building product industry with exposure in concept / specification selling.
Person Specification :
Essential criteria :
1. Experience in an architectural/ building product sales role including all aspect of the sales cycle; prospecting of new clients, networking within industries, selling to specification and multiple steps sales processes.
2. Excellent approach to implement strategies of lead generation and account management throughout the lifecycle of account acquisition, sales processes and over all relationship maintenance.
3. A strong and influential presenter in front of large groups. Ability to present at all levels of an organization in various communication modes.
4. Strong willpower and implementer who is capable of selling the concept and interaction with different bodies engaged in similar activities.
5. Demonstrated ability to identify and understand market, client and stakeholder needs in order to develop or better position the company resources to meet those needs.
6. Presentation skill
7. Ethical with strong integrity towards the organisation.
8. Age group of 26-32 years.
Desirable criteria
1. Knowledge of building product sales would be an added advantage.
2. Should be able to communicate across levels.
3. Flexible and adaptable to change.
4. Ready to travel.
