Manager - Sales - Agriculture Drone (5-10 yrs)
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive B2B sales in the agriculture sector. The role requires expertise in agricultural practices, a passion for technology-driven solutions, and a proven track record in sales. The Sales Manager will develop strategies, build relationships, and lead a sales team to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales Strategy & Execution :
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets in the agriculture sector.
- Identify new market opportunities and trends to expand market share.
Client Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, agribusinesses, and cooperatives.
- Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations, and presentations tailored to the agricultural market.
Team Leadership :
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve goals.
- Provide training and support for professional growth and enhanced performance.
Market Research & Analysis :
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and competitors.
- Analyze sales data to refine strategies and adapt to market conditions.
Sales Operations :
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements.
- Collaborate with marketing for sales collateral and promotional materials.
Reporting & Insights :
- Monitor sales performance metrics and ensure targets are met.
- Report to senior management on sales activities and progress.
Qualifications :
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related fields (MBA preferred).
Experience :
- Minimum 5 years in B2B sales (agriculture or drone technology experience preferred).
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Skills :
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices and drone technology.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics.
