Manager - Sales - Agri (5-30 yrs)

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our cutting-edge smartphone-based quality analysis boxes and bookkeeping app to various stakeholders in the market, including farmers, traders, brokers, millers, and government agencies. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Research:

- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential customers, their needs, and pain points within the agricultural sector.

- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.

2. Sales Strategy:

- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve sales targets and objectives.

- Identify and prioritize target segments and territories for sales efforts.

3. Customer Engagement:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, traders, brokers, millers, and government agencies.

- Understand their specific requirements and tailor product offerings to meet their needs.

4. Product Knowledge:

- Acquire in-depth knowledge of our agricultural quality analysis box and bookkeeping app to effectively communicate their features and benefits to potential customers.

- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations.

5. Sales Presentations:

- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.

- Address customer inquiries and objections effectively.

6. Sales Process Management:

- Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.

- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions.

7. Team Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.

8. Sales Reporting:

- Provide regular sales reports and updates to the management team.

- Monitor and report on market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Agriculture, or a related field (MBA is a plus).

- Proven track record of successful sales in the agricultural or technology sector.

- Strong understanding of the agricultural industry and its stakeholders.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Familiarity with agricultural quality analysis equipment and technologies.

- Knowledge of agricultural bookkeeping and financial management.

- Experience in selling to government agencies or large organizations.

- Strong network and existing relationships within the agricultural sector.
