Manager - Sales - Advertising/Sponsorship (3-5 yrs)
This role is responsible for Ad Sales for In-House App and sponsorship sales for the community events within allocated markets. This is a hunting role and will focus mainly on developing new accounts, accelerating the business and coming up with innovative ways to monetize the App and Events.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Identify prospects and communicate effectively on our value propositions
- Responsible for accounts closer, maintaining and growing these client relationships and keeping high visibility with key accounts.
- Collaborate and work closely with marketing and event teams to deliver a strong client experience
- Liaise with agencies to get additional revenue.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline on monthly basis. This is primarily a hunting role, sales target driven, where a candidate is expected to onboard advertisers for Digital Ads and Event Sponsorships.
- Handling data and analytics while building on client conversations.
- Ability to leverage relationships, build a strong network and have effective negotiations.
- You will be expected to manage all stakeholder relationships end to end with minimum supervision
Desired Skills:
- A self-starter with strong ownership and accountability to achieve revenue targets independently and quickly
- 3+ years of relevant sales experience in Event sponsorship, Digital Ad Sales, B2B Sales, Key Account Management
- Understanding of Advertising Ecosystem- Advertisers, Media Agencies, Ad Networks and Resellers
- Fluency in English is a must, advantageous to speak at least 1 other language.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a terrific sense of humour
Qualifications : Full Time MBA, Only from Tier I/Tier II institutes.
Location : Bengaluru, Some travel might be required across India
