Manager - Sales (14-15 yrs)
1. Business Development:
- Make detailed plans and budgets for developing the company's business in the assigned territory taking into consideration the strategic objectives and business targets.
- Set individual monthly sales targets for each of the Sales Consultants in line with market potential.
- Ensure that actions are planned and executed by the team to achieve the business development objectives.
2. Sales Process:
- Ensuring strict implementation of the company sales process.
- Review the adherence to commitments - both quantitative and qualitative, of the sales team.
- Review the sales pipeline and plan for corrective action with the Team.
- Review all business attributes and their respective impact on the business and take appropriate corrective actions timely, as and when required.
3. Business Planning:
- Annual, Quarterly, and monthly business planning for the Company to be done, in consultation with the Business Head and the Management.
- Alignment of business plans of individual markets and reviewing the plan designed by them for the achievement of area sales targets.
- Planning and re-setting targets, should there be an interim shortfall by the sales team members.
4. Marketing:
- Lead and initiate market development activities in the region of responsibility.
- Design creative and effective campaigns to generate leads and keep the enquiry funnel active and dynamic at all times.
- Plan and execute prospect and customer engagement activities in the assigned region.
5. Sales Team Development:
- Engage the Sales Team to perform better by keeping their morale and motivation high at all times.
- Identify potential dissatisfiers and develop solutions to address them, and keep employee retention rates high.
- Review the activities, performance and incentive earnings of each sales team member keeping in mind their expectations.
- Propose trainings and other development measures regularly to maintain our competitive advantage in the marketplace.
6. Customer Satisfaction:
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction during the entire sales cycle.
- Promptly initiate all possible actions to close customer/ prospect complaints, if any.
- Connect with customers to get feedback on improvement opportunities and relevant market information for the company.
7. Collections Management:
- Track amounts receivable from customers and drive the Consultants to collect pending payments.
- Update Management of possible risks and challenges in outstanding amounts.
