Manager - Revenue Planning & Analysis - Digital Media Firm (4-8 yrs)
Role:
- Support, develop and execute the Revenue Strategy for Digital business.
- Working closely with Ad sales (Regular & Branded Content) and Client Servicing team, be responsible for analysis, pricing, maximizing revenue growth and managing profitability of Branded Content business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and distribute ad product rate-card across Digital Ad Sales. Set pricing guidelines by marketplace, communicating changes in market pricing to sales leads and the planning team.
- Manage digital media packaging and sponsorship strategy across the portfolio of networks, inclusive of high-profile tent pole and special events.
- Oversee the review and approval process of all outbound media plans for pricing/inventory integrity; provide feedback and recommendations to sales planning team to drive highest yield and revenue opportunity.
- Liaise with a convergent sales team, marketing, and product & tech to set best practices in media planning and identify revenue opportunities.
- Primary point of contact for sales and marketing leads throughout pre-sales planning process, providing direction and communicating opportunity and sell-out risks.
- Manage Branded Content solution and Property P&Ls on Digital Platforms to ensure requisite profitability.
- Maintaining Trends on Ad Sales Revenue (Regular + Branded Content) from Direct Clients, Agencies, & Progammatic Revenue
- Budgeting & Sales forecasting; Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to facilitate reviews and evaluations
- Creating reports and maintaining dashboards to track revenue progress
- Preparing presentations and analysis for management meetings
- Equip the Sales teams with data and inputs to drive effective sales conversations.
- Tracking and Evaluation of competitive positioning and pricing.
- Keeping up-to-date Trends of the industry, analyzing competition data in detail and sharing relevant findings with the management & sales team
- Thinking out of the box to identify new opportunities for monetization
- Post Evaluation of key properties detailing value delivered to the client
Requirements:
- Good experience in digital advertising with a strong background in media planning, sales operations, or marketing solutions.
- Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and products
- Strong analytical, communication and time management skills
- Extensive knowledge of Ad Sales processes, pitch to deal delivery.
- Ability to understand and interpret trends and react with strategic/tactical changes
- Able to make actionable and informed decisions, effective communicator
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work with a diverse team
