Manager - Public Relations - Advertising Firm (4-10 yrs)
Introduction :
- We are seeking an experienced and strategic Public Relations (PR) Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. As the PR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our company's communication strategy, building strong relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and influencers, and enhancing our brand's reputation. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of successful PR campaigns, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the media landscape.
Responsibilities :
Develop and execute PR strategies : Create comprehensive PR plans that align with the company's overall marketing and business objectives. Identify key media opportunities and craft engaging storytelling narratives to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
Media relations : Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, bloggers, and influencers in relevant industries. Pitch newsworthy stories, press releases, and thought leadership pieces to secure media coverage across various channels.
Crisis communication : Be the point of contact for handling crisis situations and develop effective crisis communication strategies. Respond promptly and accurately to media inquiries during challenging times to protect the company's image.
Content creation : Draft compelling press releases, media kits, and other PR materials that resonate with target audiences and generate media interest. Collaborate with the content team to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
Brand positioning : Work closely with the marketing team to maintain consistent brand messaging and ensure that PR efforts align with overall brand positioning.
Event management : Plan, coordinate, and execute press conferences, media events, and other PR-related activities to create buzz and generate media coverage.
Monitoring and measurement : Track media coverage and PR campaign effectiveness through various metrics and analytics tools. Provide regular reports to management on the impact of PR efforts.
Stakeholder engagement : Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, industry influencers, and partners to leverage their networks and enhance the company's reputation.
Stay abreast of industry trends : Keep up-to-date with PR and media trends, industry news, and best practices to continually improve and innovate our PR strategies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Public Relations Manager or in a similar PR role, preferably in the same industry.
- Strong media network: Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Ability to create compelling PR materials and deliver persuasive messages to various stakeholders.
- Crisis management expertise: Experience in handling crisis situations and crafting effective communication strategies under pressure.
- Strategic thinker: Ability to think critically, develop PR plans, and execute them with measurable results.
- Event management skills: Experience in organizing successful press conferences and media events.
- Analytical mindset: Proficient in using PR analytics tools to measure the impact of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Team player: Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Creativity and adaptability: Willingness to explore innovative PR approaches and adapt to changing media landscapes.
- Previous experience in working with social media influencers and managing influencer campaigns is a plus.
- Work mode will be hybrid (9days/months).
