Manager - Project Sales - Building Material (2-13 yrs)
Role : Project Sales Manager
Job description :
1. Should engage in independent research (search engines, networking, directories, Newspapers, Surveys & meeting Project customers, Builders departments) to identify prospects in all segments in the assigned geographical territory & create awareness of our product range & applications.
2. Develop and execute a focused business development plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports company revenue and profitability targets.
3. Identifies and generates leads from prospective customers (across targeted industry segments), builders/ project developers, architects, consultants, Government bodies/agencies).
4. Assess potential business opportunities with various customers/partners and collaborate with them for leveraging the extended network.
5. Coordinates with prospective customers through various modes of communication and position Visaka products and services. Schedules meetings with prospective customers and makes necessary presentations to impact the decision patterns of moving to Visaka products and services.
6. Expands the extended network of builders, architects, consultants to improve the sales order pipe line.
7. Follows up with sales team for conversion and ensure necessary standard/value added products requirements are explained and negotiated with prospects.
8. Creates monthly and quarterly BD & sales projections, and reports plan of action to achieve set targets.
9. Undertakes key research to understand the Business and project drivers of sectors, customers and potential opportunities.
10. Engage with sectors (hospitality etc.,) and customers to anticipate potential business opportunities and implement actions that will position Visaka with differentiated advantage.
11. Maintains the data base of market players/competition land scape and gathers intelligence of customers/industry.
12. Where necessary, support marketing efforts by participating in branding campaigns such as trade shows, brand campaigns, mockups, mobility vans, kiosks and exhibitions etc.,
13. Ensure timely and effective implementation of performance management system by seeking/providing regular feedback, attending to/conducting formal reviews, and identifying training and development needs.
14. Discharge any additional roles and responsibilities as directed by management from time to time.
15. Actively guide & work with the team in planning & executing. Monitoring them actively and ensure that they align to achieve BD goals of the zone.
