Manager - Performance Marketing (2-6 yrs)

The Performance Marketing - Manager is a self-motivated individual responsible for the daily execution of a client's search/display campaign. This role includes the creation and delivery of winning strategies based on client's business objectives and using the latest knowledge of SEM/Display.

Key Responsibilities :

- Proficiency in managing PPC accounts on AdWords, AdCenter - (primary proficiency)

- Should be able to manage both Search and Display campaigns

- Exposure to and hands-on experience managing AdWords retargeting/remarketing campaigns is a must

- Should be well versed in implementing ad-extensions like Call-Outs, Sitelinks, Structured Snippets, etc.

Proficiency in running ads, maintaining pages, and creating social engagement on Facebook (secondary proficiency).

- Managing and maintaining a large keyword list.

- Perform daily account management of pay per click accounts on Google AdWords, Yahoo, Bing and other search platforms for websites targeted across various categories like Travel, Retail, Finance, Health, etc.

- Maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics

- Provide creative copy suggestions and graphical ad templates for Search and Display campaigns

- Management of Display network placement lists on AdWords and other contextual advertising platforms

- Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting across the Search & Display networks, and other facets of paid search in accordance with revenue goals

- Create new paid search campaigns, ad groups, & keywords and aid in the creation of new paid search marketing initiatives as per websites assigned

- Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives

- Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments

- Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance to internal revenue goals

- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels

- Communicate to team and management on project development, timelines, and results


- Responsible for keyword and ad copy builds, campaign implementation, optimization, reporting and ongoing account maintenance of Paid Search (SEM) campaigns

- Provides the team with data to continuously optimize campaigns and boost results

- Monitors competitive and industry trends and translates them into actionable recommendations

- Manages multiple projects, drives hard to completion, and delivers effective results

- Executes marketing campaigns using third party campaign management platforms such as Marin, Omniture, Dart, Kenshoo, Google Editor, ad Center

- Manages multiple relationships, develop and maintain a strong rapport with external 3rd party and internal business partners to streamline workflows and deliver flawless client work on time

- Traffic and Competitor Analysis regularly & routinely to maintain an edge

What we're looking for :

- 4+ years' relevant experience in SEM and proven record

- Understand the value and challenges of working in what feels like a start-up agency environment

- Passionate, entrepreneurial self-starter

- Strong technical skills or ability to quickly learn technical concepts

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills : pivot tables, Vlookups, and chart building

- Working knowledge of Visual Basic macros is a plus.

- Additional SEM software skills a plus (e.g. Tableau, Hitwise, etc.)

- Project Management

- Extremely well organized, able to balance client timelines and business needs, possibly across multiple clients

- Enthusiasm for identifying time-saving solutions. You often ask, "How can we automate this?"

- Outgoing and sociable; willing to wear many hats and work on projects of all types

- Motivated, tenacious, and resourceful: works independently, doesn't take no for an answer

- Fundamental and advanced AdWords certification

- Google Analytics certification

- Experience in proven optimization techniques, and bid management skills in Search Engine Marketing, PPC
