Description :
Skydo is looking for a Payments Partnerships Manager to join our Partnerships team. This role will report to the head of Partnerships and will be responsible to identify and work with bank/payment service providers to build payment rails.
Role :
As Skydo continues to expand in India and globally, we are looking to hire a payments partnerships manager in Bangalore. The Partnerships team is responsible for working closely with multiple banks and payment service providers to enable cross-border payment rails for our customers. As part of the team, this individual's focus will be to build new payment rails and infrastructure, as well as manage existing bank and payment partnerships. This role will drive long-term, strategic product and partnership decisions that impact Skydo's core business directly.
What you will do :
1. Manage rails with existing partners - banks and payments partners - in India and globally. You will work closely with partners, with responsibility for current rails and adding new use-cases with them.
2. Build new payment rails/capabilities on Skydo's roadmap. You will own the end-to-end process from identifying potential banks/payment partners, managing the partner selection process and working with the chosen partner on onboarding. You will work closely with product and engineering teams to finalize the product and experience for the customer. You will also work closely with legal and compliance teams internally and, external law firms/consultants, on matters related to set up the new rails.
3. Subject matter expert on global rails (account to account rails, SWIFT, cards) and funds flows; have a good understanding of the regulatory landscape in India and other markets in the context of Skydo's product.
4. Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, Legal, Operations, Risk, Finance and others to get things done.
What you will need :
- Strong academic record with 3 -5 years of relevant experience in a payments or fintech company or banking
- Strong partnership orientation
- Good understanding of Indian payments and regulatory landscape
- An ability to think creatively and thrive in a dynamic, but often ambiguous environment
- Self-starter with excellent prioritisation, time management skills, and ability to work with partners across timezones (including APAC and North America)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams including compliance, legal, product, operations, engineering
- Organised, attentive to detail, and intellectually curious
