Koita Foundation Overview

Koita Foundation (www.koitafoundation.org) is a not-for-profit organization founded 7 years ago by Rizwan Koita and Rekha Koita. Rizwan (LinkedIn) is the co-founder & ex-CEO of CitiusTech (www.citiustech.com), a global leader in healthcare technology and India's 25th Unicorns. Rizwan (an alumnus of IIT Bombay and MIT) is the recipient of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2013) and the recipient of the 2002 Indo-American Society's 'Young Achievers Award in Business'. Rekha (LinkedIn), a recipient of IIT Bombay's Distinguished ServicesAward in 2019, is a corporate trainer and specializes in business process consulting. Koita Foundation has beneficiaries in two key areas - Digital Health and NGO Transformation.

Digital Health : KF partners with leading academic institutions, hospitals, healthcare technology companies, and NGOs to drive Digital Health adoption in India. In 2021, KF partnered with IIT Bombay, India's #1 academic institution, to establish the Koita Centre for Digital Health (www.kcdh.iitb.ac.in). KF is actively engaged in various Digital Health initiatives on a national scale.


- This includes collaborating with the Government of India's ABDM initiative (www.abdm.gov.in) for its nationwide rollout. Additionally, KF is partnering with NABH (www.nabh.co),India's prominent accreditation body for hospitals, to contribute to their digital health initiatives. Moreover, KF has teamed up with the National Cancer Grid (NCG) to establish the Koita Centre for Digital Oncology (www.kcdo.in). The overarching vision of this collaboration is to harness the potential of Digital Health technologies to significantly enhance cancer care in India. NGO Transformation : Koita Foundation works with NGOs with proven operating models and collaborates with them to scale effectively. KF helps NGOs to digitally transform their operations and use advanced data & analytics to drive organizational performance & impact, which are key success factors for sustainable growth. KF today works with over a dozen NGOs across healthcare, education, and livelihood segments.

JD for Partnerships & Communications Manager

Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Partnerships & Communications Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders, developing strategic partnerships, and implementing effective communication strategies for KF and its beneficiaries.

KF partners include:

- Government organisations

- Corporates (incl. large corporate CSR teams)

- Large Foundations / NGOs operating in Healthcare, Education and Livelihood domain

- KF Professional partners (incl. management consultants, technology vendors, content development firms, and marketing / PR firms)

- KF volunteer community (incl. healthcare experts, academicians, researchers etc. )

This position requires a blend of excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to build long-term relationships and foster collaboration across various stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

- Develop and execute strategies to engage with internal and external stakeholders.

- Build and nurture strong relationships and engagement with KF Partners - government organisations, professional firms, corporates, NGOs, KF volunteer community etc.

2. Engagement Initiatives:

- Create and oversee outreach activities, events, and partnerships to bolster engagement. Successfully plan and execute events, providing post-event reports on outcomes and lessons learned.

3. Donor Relationship Management:

- Drive and support fund-raising effort for KF beneficiaries (Note - not for Koita Foundation)

- Create robust and researched database of potential corporate and institutional donor communities.

- Cultivate and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring personalized and meaningful interactions.

- Lead efforts in donor stewardship, acknowledgment, and recognition programs.

4. Communication and Advocacy :

- Oversee KF communication channels, including social media, newsletters, and events, to effectively communicate the Foundation's mission and impact.

- Advocate for the Foundation's causes and initiatives through public speaking, presentations, and networking opportunities.

- Support communication and advocacy for KF beneficiaries esp. for KF related initiatives

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Nonprofit Management).

- 5 years of proven experience in partner management, fundraising, or related fields.

- Strong grasp of engagement techniques, fundraising methodologies, and donor relations.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.

- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and autonomously when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

- Certification in fundraising, community engagement, or related areas.

- Track record of successfully managing engagement programs and fundraising campaigns.

- Familiarity with specific industry-related compliance standards and best practices.

- Proficiency in using fundraising software, CRM systems, and analytical tools.
