Manager - Outbound IT Sales (5-6 yrs)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Sales Manager with a proven track record to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, driving customer acquisition, and exceeding revenue targets. Your responsibilities will also include leading a sales team, analyzing performance, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and define sales plans to capitalize on them.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
Customer Acquisition:
- Drive the acquisition of new customers through various channels, including direct sales, partnerships, and digital marketing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
Revenue Generation:
- Exceed revenue targets by identifying and closing sales opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers to maximize profit margins.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the sales team's skills and product knowledge.
- Set performance goals and monitor the team's progress through regular performance reviews.
Performance Analysis:
- Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
- Prepare and present sales reports to senior management, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
- Use CRM tools to track sales activities and customer interactions.
- Collaboration with Marketing and Product Teams:
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.
- Collaborate with the product team to understand product features and provide feedback for improvements.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in leading and managing a sales team is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.
