Position Overview :
- Promotion and marketing of the flagship assessment programmes for schools- International Benchmark Tests (IBT). He/she should be responsible for meeting individual schools, groups and corporates, ensuring sales closure and meeting annual sales targets. Work closely with Regional Manager north sales to identify new markets and help establish sales network. Participate in all major educational events, conferences, seminars to promote company brand and its products & services.

- Client has built a strong reputation as a provider of reliable support and expertise to education policy makers and professional practitioners since 1930. The Group has experienced significant growth in recent years, with almost 400 staff located in Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, Dubai, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, London, New Delhi, Perth and Sydney.
Position Accountabilities :
The main responsibilities of the Sales Officer, will include :
Sales :
- Responsible for maximising sales of Company's products & services to schools and meeting targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with schools in the region for products & services.
- Work closely with client schools to understand their needs and provide the required support to maximising or retain the business for client schools.
- Own the overall customer relationship with all the stake holders.
- Strategize and plan with the Regional manager for current and future business growth.
- Coordinate with internal teams for operational purposes.
- Post-sales support to schools
- Support the Regional manager north for other relationship building activities.
Decision Making Authority :
- The Sales officer is required to exercise initiative in carrying out delegated responsibilities within general operational guidelines and with limited direction regarding setting priorities, managing workflow and conduct of tasks.
Qualifications :
- Any bachelor's degree from a recognized university with adequate professional experience are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Attributes :
- An understanding of the overall Indian school education and student assessment products.
- Good connects with Principals/Owners/Management of leading schools in the region
- Excellent communications and presentation skills
- Adept at multi-tasking and managing a large no. of clients/schools
- Willing to be in the field for 3 to 4 days in a week visiting schools and other prospective clients.
- Used to working independently and managing a region
- Strong customer service focus
- Have prior experience of 2- 4 years in the same field.
