As the Manager - New Product Development, you will be responsible for activities related to the development of a product portfolio roadmap, the development of products according to the roadmap and support of existing products.
Your responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of new business initiatives, which includes the evaluation, definition and operational rollout of new offerings
- Accountable for the development, release and support of new products that directly contribute to business growth
- Building new educational products by strengthening and building on existing assets
- Designing the structure for new offerings, and creating curriculum with the help of industry and academic experts
- Collaborating with Academic and Operations teams to ensure a seamless experience and excellent learning outcomes for students in the new programs
- Working with leading corporates to validate programs and solicit involvement in programs, in areas ranging from content to recruitment
- Proactively monitoring market trends to identify new offerings and delivery models
- Pro-actively contributing to overall growth strategy and execution including new offerings, formats, locations and subject areas
- Adopting new product development methodologies and a stage gate approach for most efficient launch of new products
- Monitoring and analyzing product performance and making recommendations on modifications and enhancements
Candidate Profile:
- Demonstrable NPD experience of 2-5 years or experience working for a strong brand, looking in consulting, marketing etc.
- B.Tech graduate/MBA from Tier 1 preferred
- Good communication skills and street smart skills
- Resilient to pressure and fast-changing business environment
- Should be looking forward to own entire product features - the front-end, the backend, the logic and whatever else it takes to build and launch a product successfully
- Should be excited about being part of a sustainable growth story in the Ed-tech space
- Flexible for 6 days a week working structure
