Manager - Merchandising - Textile (4-9 yrs)
Job Description
Understanding the strategic framework for the brand in accordance with the overall Corporate Strategic direction, create merchandising plans in line with the requirement under the guidance of the GM Sales & Operations/CEO
Develop the range width plan for the Indian market in line with the objectives and vision for the brand
Identify new business opportunities to grow sales and profitability
Deliver cost effective supply solutions and achieve maximum full price sales and planned margin
Review, propose and implement mark-down activity to reduce terminal stock whilst analyzing action taken on mark-downs to maximize profit
Work with the Operations team for sales forecasts
Providing monthly rolling forecasts to the SL manufacturing team, placing orders along with expected delivery dates.
Follow up with SL manufacturing for delivery dates, shipment schedule and communicate to the IND team
Decide on the buying plan in terms of styles, colours, etc. SKU wise
Finalize the stock levels for warehouses / distributor and stores
Monitoring the stock levels across the retail value chain distributor/warehouse/stores
Suggest base stock levels and assortment mix for individual stores Pan India
Ensure in-store product availability as per base stock levels and manage the product replenishment cycle on time as per business targets.
Analyzing the customer buying cycle and buying pattern identifying best sellers and non-movers and reasons for the same
Maintaining good rapport with the B2B customers
Identifying slow moving stocks for consumer promos, write off
Salary: INR 7,00,000 - 10,00,000 P.A.
