Manager - Marketing/Sales Operations - eCommerce (8-10 yrs)
JOB TITLE: Manager- e-Commerce
DEPARTMENT : e-Commerce- Sales &Operations
JOB OBJECTIVES :
The purpose of the role is to oversee and guide all key account-related activities for e-Commerce for specific Accounts and Operations and expand presence on Online Portal/Channel Partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS :
1. Owning the 3P e-commerce PL (revenue, margins, profitability) for sales through third-party e-commerce partners and marketplaces & inventory model
2. Driving new product launches, campaigns, and collaborations with marketing and digital for impactful brand presence leading to business
3. Working closely with the demand forecasting and sourcing team to generate demands and ensure smooth supply by owning stock allocation
4. Accountable for the end-to-end customer experience and for driving growth - traffic, conversion, revenue and profit whilst coordinating with ad and performance marketing team for budgetary approvals, sanctions and utilization
5. Building deeper engagement with the e-commerce platforms for business growth and achievement for planned volume and value growth whilst growing the market share/ share of voice for the brand across platforms
6. Discover and identify new channels as defined in the annual strategy, negotiate contracts, test and build new accounts as needed
7. Lead a stellar D2C team who are all self-starters
8. Liaoning with Accounts to understand the business, focus areas and growth factors; and translate into analytical initiatives and Plan Vs. Actual
9. Use Consulting frameworks, Statistical techniques, ML algorithms & Data visualization practices to conceptualize solution framework for business problems and lead project delivery to generate business insights & articulate strategic recommendations
10. Work with the Digital/IT team to implement analytical algorithms in the e-Commerce process ecosystem
Budgeting :
11. Tracking of spend vs. budget. Develop an in-depth understanding of our data sources, tables and data relationships
12. Driving Cost advantages through the channel in terms of activities and promotion
Business Analysis :
13. Mapping competition activities & promotions
14. Stock & Volume tracking for all activated websites/partners
15. Design, conceptualize and monitor the delivery of standard & custom reports. Monitor Promotions, Banner, Ratings & Reviews for the Accounts.
16. Lead a team of 3 people and ensuring high accuracy and timely implementation of new use cases and regular reports
Position Reports to: GM-Key Accounts (MT & e-Commerce)
Key Customers :
Internal Customers : Promoters/Sales Team, Finance Team, Procurement & Warehouse Team
External Customers: e-Commerce Channel Partners, Agencies and Event Partners
Language Proficiency : Hindi, English, and Local Language
Skills & Competencies :
Robust understanding of e-Commerce drivers
- Strong critical thinking ability, numerical & problem solving skills
- Strong process orientation. Should be task focused and result oriented
- Experience in conceptualizing & leading advance analytics projects to influence business strategy in areas like Customer Acquisition, UI, UX, Retention, Marketing campaign optimization, Media mix selection, Demand Forecasting, etc.
- Comfortable with and having an understanding of statistics- ability to develop, implement and interpret analytical algorithms like regression, clustering, etc. to get derive actionable business use cases
- Experience in data sciences in the areas of machine learning, AI and big data- Proven ability to draw insights from structured and unstructured data from different sources- (Clickstream data, Sales transaction data, Voice of customer, external research inputs)
- Ability to liaise with different business functions.
- Strong written and oral communication skills. - Proven experience (2 to 3 years) in delivering analytical solutions
- Understanding of data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, etc.
- Experience in using Google Analytics. Knowledge of products like Firebase, SEMrush, Core Metrics, Tealeaf, Hotjar added advantage
