JOB DESCRIPTION
- Continuously ideate, research and present innovative schemes to grow the market
- Map and monitor the market and build databases to pinpoint and exploit market opportunities
- Understanding client requirements and preparing sales strategies to meet assigned revenue targets
- Having strong communication, leadership, negotiation and presentation skills preferred.
- Responsible for show- launch related communication (both On Air & Off Air)
- Work closely with the On-Air Promotion team to ensure quality & consistency in all the communication
- To be involved into concept testing along with the Programming and Research team to understand the show and execute communication aligned to the show
- Interact on a broad level with internal customers - Sales, Programming & Distribution & External customers - PR, Digital & Ad agencies.
- Analyse channel performance closely based on TAM, and making recommendations to programming with the aim to boost channel Ratings
- Create associations to enhance marketing activities
- Maintain contact with all customers on a regular basis and in a planned manner
- Create value additions for customers to ensure loyalty and competitive advantage
- Have responsible for new client acquisition
- Have responsible to achieve yearly Ad Sales target
- Have thorough knowledge in space selling
- Meeting Agency & Clients of the respective categories on a regular basis
- Mentoring and coaching his team to achieve their targets
- Excellent relationship building attitude
- Liaison with EVP Marketing / MD to make the channel the preferred brand
- Create direct mail initiatives
- Measure ad effectiveness and optimise if needed
- Coordinate staff members who create and deliver ads
