Responsibilities for e-commerce specialist

- Assists e-commerce team in building annual operating plan through data gathering and analysis

- Identifies and analyses shipment and consumption data

- Drives the overall engagement with external partners through assortment optimization and monitoring of business success

- E-Commerce shooting coordination

- E-Commerce newsletters coordination

- Optimize marketplace listings, keywords, titles, categories and descriptions

- Implement changes and updates to product descriptions for top performing products

- Ensure that all products listed are getting published

- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of content in all listings

- Work with others in the organization to learn and get feedback about strategies

Qualifications for e-commerce specialist

- Experience with start-up beneficial

- Have understanding of disciplines required to drive traffic to retail websites (PPC, email marketing, link generation, PR, SEO)

- Have understanding of order management/customer fulfilment in an e-commerce context

- Self-motivated, works well with people and willing to work extended hours during peak periods

- Monitor the customer experience and purchase path to improve purchase rate (frequency

- Experience with web merchandising software and content management systems highly desirable
