Key SKILL :
- FMCG experience in Marketing Management, working with consumer products, ideally within the Beauty industry
- Retailer category management experience.
- International Marketing Experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present at a high level with customers.
- The ability to work in a creative, fast paced team but equally work autonomously when required.
- High attention to detail.
- Experience of managing commercial relationships with external parties, i.e. Retailers/Creative Agencies/Focus groups.
- Project Management skills and be able to manage multiple projects at one time as well as any other ad hoc requests.
- Strong working knowledge and management of budgets.
Job Description :
- To effectively manage all short term and long term brand plans, across the complete marketing mix, working closely with team members in Product Development, PR and Sales.
- To be responsible for the development and execution of comprehensive brand plans that demonstrates knowledge of trends, positioning, rationale and the brand's role in the category.
- To be accountable to the Commercial Director for the protection of brands and the sign off of all brand guidelines and prepare monthly / quarterly reports on budgets.
- To oversee the management and awareness of brand / product launches on time.
- To manage the digital strategy and content direction for all brands.
- To proactively ensure the creation of marketing collateral for trade, consumer and online is being developed in line with plans.
- Analyse consumer behaviour to determine brand direction.
- Monitor competition and market analysis to ensure brand retains and grows market share position.
- Develop International brand strategies with guidelines for brand presentations, execution for awareness, product sales and social media.
- To be responsible for the communication of clear and consistent brand messaging and tone of voice.
- To be accountable for managing multiple projects within agreed timescales.
- To be responsible for the management of external contacts including PR Agency, Creative Agency, Focus Groups etc.
- To monitor brand performance, using sales, financial, market and consumer data.
- To be responsible for ensuring marketing spend is in line with the budget.
