Key Responsibilities :
Marketing Strategy Development :
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business objectives and maximise customer engagement and conversion.
- Develop targeted campaigns based on customer segmentation, lifecycle stages, and buyer personas.
Campaign Management & Execution :
- Oversee end-to-end campaign management, from conceptualization and content creation to deployment and monitoring.
- Coordinate with design, content, and technical teams to ensure campaigns are visually appealing, compelling, and error-free.
Performance Analytics & Optimization :
- Track and analyse campaign metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversions) to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Use A/B testing, data insights, and customer feedback to refine and optimise content, timing, and personalization strategies.
Team Leadership & Development :
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of marketing specialists, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Guide team members on best practices, innovative strategies, and process improvements to enhance productivity and campaign success.
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
- Work closely with product, sales, design, and customer success teams to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and consistent messaging across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with data analysts to leverage customer insights and optimise targeting strategies.
Customer Retention & Engagement :
- Develop strategies to improve customer retention, nurture leads, and build customer loyalty through effective marketing tactics.
- Focus on lifecycle marketing, such as onboarding, re-engagement, upsell, and loyalty campaigns, to drive long-term customer value.
Budget & Resource Management :
- Manage marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximising ROI.
- Evaluate tools and platforms to enhance campaign efficiency and productivity.
Compliance & Best Practices :
- Ensure compliance with marketing regulations (such as GDPR and CAN-SPAM) and implement best practices to maintain high deliverability rates and protect brand reputation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and emerging best practices to ensure that strategies remain innovative and competitive.
Content & Personalization Strategy :
- Oversee the development of personalised and engaging content that aligns with brand voice and resonates with target audiences.
- Implement advanced personalization techniques, such as dynamic content and automated workflows, to create tailored customer experiences.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication :
- Prepare regular performance reports and deliver insights to senior management, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Make data-backed recommendations to refine and enhance overall marketing strategies.
Qualifications :
- Experience: Minimum 8 years in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, specifically in marketing and e-commerce.
- Expertise: Proficiency in marketing platforms, data analytics, and CRM tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data insights into actionable strategies.
